Service Opportunities

The end of the year our calendar is going to be full of opportunities to serve, both people in our immediate area and people around the world who are in need. There are many way we can serve, find what is best for you.

1st: Tomorrow is our Humanitarian night, a great opportunity to help people around the globe. Come and give of your time. We are hoping to make this a monthly event starting the 1st week of December. Brenda W. is our new humanitarian leader if you have any questions.

2nd: Chino Stake Relief Society Toy Drive. We are collecting new, unwrapped toys and gift card for needy families. These are intended for children 1-18 years old for the holiday season. Please keep teenagers in mind: some ideas are gift cards to Target, Walmart, and Best Buy. End date for collection is November 16th.

3rd: Mormon Helping Hands Community Day of Service; Oct. 24th

4th: Bring a new or gently used modest dress to donate. It can be for any age. Our ward's goal is to collect 100 dresses by November 1st; just in time for our 100 Dresses Relief Society Meeting and Dinner. Lets make our goal!!!

I'm sure we will have many more opportunities flying our way. Do what you can to serve, it will bless your life and also the lives of those who receive your service.
